Jim Kennedy serves as the executive director for the Healthy Air Alliance. Jim has specialized in California environmental and health issues, specifically those pertaining to water and energy. Jim builds community support for public programs – including those focused on air quality and environmental justice issues – through policy formulation, project advocacy, and by facilitating dialogue to expand public engagement in developing and implementing a clear path forward. Jim has been a long-time board member of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters and a volunteer for the Sierra Club’s Conservation Committee. Jim has also been on staff for several elected officials in California. In that capacity, he has contributed to developing energy and environmental policies and programs. Jim has a M.Sc. in Economic Development from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
